Turkey reached their first European Championship semi-final with a dramatic shootout victory over Croatia after extra time finished 1-1. Croatia looked set to win when Modrić’s late cross found Klasnić, but Semih Şentürk salvaged parity with the final kick of extra time and Turkey prevailed 3-1 in the penalty shootout.
